Cookies

This site does not set cookies on readers, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. That is unusual enough to be worth explaining properly.
What we use instead
Our analytics are provided by Vercel Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you. Nothing is stored in your browser and nothing follows you to another site.
One cookie does exist on this domain: the session cookie that signs the owner in to the private admin area at /admin. It is set only when someone signs in there, and no reader is ever issued one.
Retailer cookies
When you follow a product link, you leave this site. The retailer — Amazon, Wayfair, Etsy or another — will usually set its own cookies at that point, and one of them is how a purchase gets credited back to this site. Those cookies belong to the retailer, are set on the retailer’s domain, and are governed by the retailer’s own cookie and privacy policies. We cannot read them, switch them off, or see what you did after you arrived.
If you would rather not be tracked that way, your browser’s own controls are the place to do it: block or clear third-party cookies, or open the retailer directly instead of following our link. Nothing on this site stops working if you do — we simply earn nothing from that visit. The disclosure describes the arrangement in full.
Changes
If we ever add something that does set a cookie — a different analytics tool, an embedded video, an email signup — this page changes first, the date at the top changes with it, and consent gets handled properly at that point rather than retrospectively.
Questions go to hello@tinyroomedit.com, and the privacy policy covers everything else.
