What this site is

An editorial site about furnishing small rooms. We write about products and link out to retailers who sell them. We do not sell anything, take orders, hold stock, ship, deliver, install, exchange or refund. No sale is ever made between you and us.

We do not test products

Products are chosen by hand and written up from the retailer’s own listing. We do not test, measure, inspect or review them, and nothing here should be read as a claim that we have. How we choose sets out exactly what that does and does not mean. Confirm dimensions, materials, compatibility and availability with the retailer before you buy — especially anything that has to fit a particular space.

Links to retailers

Product links are affiliate links and may earn us a commission, as the disclosure explains. We have no control over any retailer’s site, prices, stock, descriptions, terms or delivery, and we are not responsible for them. Your purchase is governed entirely by that retailer’s terms. If something goes wrong with an order, they are who can fix it — though we would still like to hear about a dead or wrong link.

Using our content

The writing, layout and generated images on this site belong to Anya Barnes. Read them, link to them, quote a little with attribution. Do not republish pages wholesale, and do not scrape, crawl or bulk-download this site or use it to train a model without written permission. Product names, brands and product photography belong to their owners and appear here under the retailer’s own affiliate programme.

No warranty

The site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind. We try to keep it accurate and current, and product listings change constantly; we cannot promise that everything here is complete, correct or still available.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Anya Barnes is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or from anything you bought after following a link from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnity

If your misuse of this site causes a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable cost of dealing with it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of that state have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes and notices
