Privacy

tiny room edit is published by Anya Barnes. This policy covers tinyroomedit.com. It does not cover the retailers we link to, who each have their own policies and collect their own data once you arrive there.
What we collect
Very little, and none of it is asked for. The site has no reader accounts, no newsletter, no comments and no forms. You can read every page without giving us anything.
We use Vercel Analytics, which counts page views and where visits came from without setting cookies and without building a profile of you. It records things like the page visited, the referring site, and coarse device and country information. We see totals, not people.
Our hosting provider, Vercel, processes requests on our behalf and keeps short-lived server logs that include IP addresses, as essentially every web host does. Signing in to the private admin area sets a session cookie, but that area is for the person who runs this site; no reader is ever issued one.
Affiliate links
Most product links here are affiliate links. When you follow one, the retailer may set a cookie in your browser so that a purchase can be credited to this site. That cookie is theirs, set on their domain, under their policy — we cannot read it, and we never learn who bought what. We see only aggregate reports of orders and commission. The full disclosure explains the arrangement, and the cookie notice covers the mechanics.
What we do not do
We do not sell or share personal information, as those terms are defined by California law. We do not run advertising trackers or a social pixel. We do not buy data about you, and we do not combine what little we have with anything from elsewhere.
California privacy rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the right to know what personal information a business has collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You also have the right not to be treated differently for exercising any of them.
The only category we collect is internet activity — the analytics and server logs described above — and we collect it to keep the site working and to see which guides people read. We do not collect sensitive personal information, we do not sell or share personal information, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children under 16.
To make a request, email hello@tinyroomedit.com or write to Anya Barnes, 159 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, NY 11238. Because we hold no account for you, we may not be able to connect a request to any record we have; where we can, we will verify it by replying to the address you wrote from. An authorised agent may act for you with your written permission.
Keeping and moving data
Analytics totals and server logs are kept by our providers for their own retention periods and are not exported or archived by us. The site is hosted in the United States, so that is where this processing happens.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described on the page rather than made quietly.
